The U.K. stocks ended in negative territory on Monday, with the FTSE 100 Index (UK:UKX) falling by 0.38% to close at 7,406.42.

Coca-Cola HBC AG Declines Sharply

Among the FTSE 100 constituents, non-alcoholic beverages/drinks company Coca-Cola HBC AG (UK:CCH) witnessed the largest decrease on Monday, as its shares declined by 4.19%.

Flutter Entertainment PLC and Glencore PLC Also Experience Losses

Shares of gambling industries firm Flutter Entertainment PLC (UK:FLTR) and general mining company Glencore PLC (UK:GLEN) also experienced a decline, falling by 3.44% and 2.82%, respectively.

Anglo American PLC and Antofagasta PLC Round Out Top Five Decreases

General mining company Anglo American PLC (UK:AAL) and non-ferrous metals firm Antofagasta PLC (UK:ANTO) rounded out the top five largest decreases, with their stocks falling by 2.49% and 2.47%, respectively.

Spirax-Sarco Engineering PLC Sees Largest Increase

On the other hand, technical services company Spirax-Sarco Engineering PLC (UK:SPX) saw the largest increase among the FTSE 100 constituents, as its shares rose by 2.10% on Monday.

Polymetal International PLC and Rentokil Initial PLC Also Climb

Shares of general mining firm Polymetal International PLC (UK:POLY) and diversified business services company Rentokil Initial PLC (UK:RTO) climbed by 1.90% and 1.56%, respectively.

NatWest Group PLC and Compass Group PLC Make Top Five Increases

Banking company NatWest Group PLC (UK:NWG) and restaurants business Compass Group PLC (UK:CPG) rounded out the top five largest increases, with their stocks climbing by 1.48% each.

Pound's Performance and Other Market Indicators

The pound was down 0.11% against the dollar (GBPUSD) at $1.3078 and 0.19% against the euro (GBPEUR) at €1.1638.

In commodity markets, Brent crude (UK:BRN00) shed 1.4% to $78.78, and the yield on the 10-year gilt (BX:TMBMKGB-10Y) declined by 1.600 basis points to 4.434%.
