U.S. Futures and European Stocks

In the U.S., futures for the S&P 500 remained flat, while futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average experienced a slight decrease of 0.1%. However, it's important to note that changes in futures do not always accurately predict market movements once the opening bell rings.

Across the pond, in Europe, the Stoxx Europe 600 saw a decline of 0.3% during morning trading. Notable stock movements included a 2% climb for Sweco Series B and a 1.9% rise for CD Projekt. On the other hand, Tomra Systems experienced a significant drop of 5.8%, and Signify slipped by 5%. Meanwhile, the FTSE 100 remained flat. The CAC 40 in France and Germany's DAX both fell by 0.4%.

Currency and Commodities

The Wall Street Journal Dollar Index maintained stability at 100.82, showing no significant change.

Turning to commodities, Brent crude saw a modest decrease of 0.7%, currently resting at $90.03 per barrel. Similarly, WTI crude fell by 0.6% to $88.27 per barrel.

Bond Yields

Moving on to bond yields, the German 10-year Bund yield dropped by 1 basis point to 2.915% from its previous mark at 2.927%. Conversely, the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury stayed steady at 4.69%. It's crucial to remember that bond prices and yields usually move in opposite directions.
