London's Heathrow Airport had a remarkable month in July, with a significant increase in passenger numbers. According to the airport's data, there was a 21% rise, reaching a total of 7.6 million passengers. On average, nearly 250,000 passengers were served daily during this period, highlighting the strong start to the summer season.

Security lines at Heathrow Airport have been efficiently managed, with completion times consistently under five minutes. The airport has been actively collaborating with various airlines to further enhance its network by introducing additional routes and increasing flight frequencies.

Among the various destinations served by Heathrow, New York emerged as the top choice for travelers. Departures to Gibraltar, Portugal, and Italy also reached close-to-record levels. The airport set a new record in July by flying 73,000 passengers to Turkey, making it the busiest month ever for that particular destination.

In terms of cargo volumes, Heathrow Airport witnessed a year-on-year increase of 4.1% in July. The total cargo handled during this period amounted to 781,627 metric tons.
