Games Workshop Group announced that its performance for the three-month period ending August 28th exceeded expectations, leading the company to declare a dividend. The British miniature-wargaming company reported an estimated pretax profit of approximately £57 million, compared to £39 million in the same period last year. This significant increase can be attributed to strong growth across all channels.

During this period, core revenue reached about £121 million, up from £106 million the previous year, while licensing revenue rose to around £6 million from £3 million. Despite recognizing the improved performance compared to the prior year, Games Workshop Group acknowledges that it is still early in the financial year.

Additionally, the board has declared a dividend of 50 pence per share, bringing the total dividends declared so far to £1.95 per share. This is a notable increase from the declared dividends of £1.20 per share during the same period last year.

Overall, Games Workshop Group's excellent performance and increased profitability demonstrate its continued success in the market.
